Jake has been playing music since shortly after he could walk.  Whether it be spatula guitar to his Dads old records, or singing to old country with his mother, music has always been a big part of his life.  Taking on piano at an early age, adding saxophone and violin in junior high, guitar in high school, and finally bass as a necessity for his friends band, he has aquired an appreciation and love for all kinds of music.  In college he formed two bands: Hall's Guide Service which toured nationally, and later on Jaxon Boom, which was spawned as a collective search for challenging music both technically and topically.  Jake always has a great time on stage, and his aim is to make sure the crowd has a great time too.
